Everyone Italian in America

Here we are again, a Natale.  We Italo-americani o Italiani.  I imagine that Italians who live abroad have this deep sense of loss, because they can't spend this time in famiglia.  Then there are those italo-americani who sense the loss of their genitorni, or bis zii, the times they spent as children.  We all look to recreate the joys that we have experienced as children.  My times were wonderful.  We try to latch on to that special snow fall, or those carolers who came to our door step to wish us a Merry Christmas.  Ormai non possiamo ricreare le scene.  But we must be thankful for the life that we have, the wonder to experience the beauty of the season.
