About Me:
Last week I discussed my MA thesis on Italian American writing and multiethncity. I focused upon Jerre Mangione´s Mount Allegro, Tina de Rosa´s Paper Fish and Louise deSalvo´s Crazy in the Kitchen. Inspiring, challenging, amazing works. There is still so much work do to to get these and hundreds more authors to the centre of attention. I would love to take part in this project! I am now writing my Phd project proposal keeping an eye on Irish American and Asian American authors too...and wondering if one day we´ll really see the establishment of a true multiethnic canon of American literature!

annalisa,

I will be giving some lectures at the Centro Studi Americani in Rome May 5, 6 and 7th on Italian American literature. You are certainly welcomed to attend.
