Benvenuti a tutti
Potreste ascoltare le canzoni che ho
messo nella mia pagina?.
Ho scritto queste musiche per il periodo
di Natale. Spero che vi piacciano.

(I can only hope that my Italian has some
semblance of sensibility)

Greetings everyone--
As time permits, please click onto my page
and listen to some of my original Christmas
musical compositions that I've created for this
most holy of seasons. The holidays are right
around the corner, so--enjoy!
Augie

I'm not too sure about the progress. As you can see on my profile and my mmfdn web page. I have much experience, with the publishing industry. I was blacklisted, because of other peoples politics not necessarily even mine, It was made possible in a large part because i am italian american. The people who now and for over forty years knew this and when i slipped through the cracks with my first novel, and was on the cover of library journal and very well reviewed etc. they just made a few phone calls and my second book too was finished keput . I have tried in this country for twenty two years to publish the real story of Marilyn Monroe the story of her Italio amer heritage. I have not been able to.
I am making some progress now, in bulgaria with my play, and the netherlands, and perhaps but iffy england.
The italian press, the first, have mentioned my story, but here in america it has only been distorted, defiled and disregared/ignored by the press. The story simple about italian immigrants a family, who raised someone who became one of the most, if not the most famous woman of the twentieth century......i don't think it could have happened to anyone but an italian american, the blacklisting that is.

My, road, and maybe the road for the italian americans who don't want to write "mob tales" or cook books is somewhere other than america. and that may be okay, as i'm kind of proud that a country with the history of bulgaria and a fine sense of art wants to translate and produce my play and the same with the dutch who have and know history of man and the world.....well, you know.

Oh, just an aside. Joan Crawford's adopted daughter received 10.000,000.00 for her story she didn't even have to write it. Mommie Dearest. Makes one a little proud not to be published here. All life i find is a double edged sword,

Hello!

As an Italian/American writer you must have an opinion on the teaching of the Italian language in the United States...

Why don’t you help the i-italy crew to try to save the AP Italian program? Add a comment to the discussion we’ve just started!!!
